What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

You may have already heard of microblading for full brows. Did you know, Lana also provides a similar practice for your scalp? This procedure is known as scalp micropigmentation (SMP).

Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive, affordable, and 100% effective hair loss solution! It’s the perfect cosmetic treatment for people struggling with thinning hair or hair loss. The goal of SMP isn’t to create hairlike strokes like you would with microblading, but instead to use tiny, layered dots in different hues to mimic the look of hair follicles on the scalp.

This process may be useful for people who experience all forms of hair loss including cancer, alopecia, thinning hair & male and female pattern baldness. Our innovative Staccato Scalp Micropigmentation machine also duos as a microneedling machine as well, helping aid in Scalp Hair Restoration!

Before Treatment

Shower before each treatment. You won’t be able to wash or wet your scalp (this includes sweating excessively) for four days after each appointment.

  • Keep out of the sun for 28 days after treatment. Thereafter, use SPF 40–70 sunscreen.
  • Avoid heavy exercise for seven days after your final treatment.

Follow up after treatment

Follow up appointment priced at $150 two weeks after your first initial session. Staccato Scalp Micropigmentation lasts up to 2 years before needing a retouch!

Lana is absolutely fabulous!!! I wish I knew about microblading years ago! It is a life changer. I’m not even being overdramatic. I never realized how unsymmetrical my face was and Lana was able to fix all my troubles with the shape of my eyebrows. My make up time is cut, literally, 20 minutes a day. I am extremely pleased and would highly recommend my new friend!

Will Scalp Micropigmentation work well for me?

People that have scalp acne or other skin sensitives like psoriasis should avoid getting a procedure like this during a breakout or flare-up, as it will be difficult to apply pigment to the inflamed areas and won’t result in the best

If you’re prone to developing keloids, which are more common in darker skin, you may also not be a good candidate for SMP.

The benefits of scalp micropigmentation compared to hair transplantation surgery include:

  • Less invasive (no surgery or incisions).

  • Less pain & Lower cost

  • No downtime healing period, immediate results
